Accessing Fort Leonard Wood

Fort Leonard Wood is a military installation. As of June 2023, access requirements for the installation have changed. Please see the full access requirements before planning your visit to the Protection Exhibition

Do you need a Sponsor AIE Pass for Fort Leonard Wood to attend the exhibition?

Individuals who meet the following criteria will need to submit for an AIE pass in order to attend the exhibition.

  • Any person (18 years and older) not in possession of a DoD-issued photo identification card to include contractors, subcontractors and vendors will need a pass to gain access. Individuals who visit Fort Leonard Wood at least once a week will also require a pass.
Passes cannot be submitted for post processing until 60 days out from the exhibition.
If traveling from outside of the United States passes will NOT be processed until customs has been cleared.
